Businesses in the construction industry have a challenge no others have. Not only must the accounting records be kept, VAT filed and payrolls be run, but CIS (construction industry scheme) requires a bit more knowledge.
Having had experience with businesses that are contractors, subcontractors, or both, we offer CIS services in addition to the usual bookkeeping. We can register you for the scheme, calculate adjustments to payments, make the necessary applications and communicate with HMRC to verify subcontractors and submit information on your behalf.
To enable you to spend your time out on the job, we are also happy to take on bookkeeping and payroll tasks as requested. We can provide financial reports so you can see how your business is doing and advise on budgeting and growing your business. Additionally, we can look after your VAT returns, produce annual accounts and calculate your tax returns. Whether you work on your own or have a whole team, we can take on as many or as few of the accounting tasks as you wish.
